Co-op Nova Retro ("the Service") values your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws. This policy explains what information the Service collects, how it is used, and what cookies are involved.

On-device data (localStorage): High scores, a randomly generated player identifier (a random number), and game settings such as sound on/off are stored only in your browser. This data is not sent to any server and does not identify you personally.
Online leaderboard (optional): Only if you choose to submit a score, the nickname you enter (up to 8 characters), your score, the sector reached, and the submission time are stored on the server. Please do not enter personal information such as your real name or contact details in the nickname.
Advertising information: The Service displays ads via Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies during ad delivery (see section 3).

The Service does not require sign-up and does not directly collect your name, email, or phone number.

Maintaining game progress and settings (high scores, preferences)
Displaying leaderboard rankings
Serving ads and operating the Service

3. Cookies and Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this Service and other sites.
Google may use advertising cookies to provide personalized ads based on your interests.
You may opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info.
You may also refuse cookie storage in your browser settings, though some features may then be limited.

4. Retention and Deletion

On-device data can be deleted at any time using your browser's "clear site data" feature.
Data submitted to the leaderboard is retained for service operation; to request deletion, contact us at the address below.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

The Service does not provide your information to third parties except where required by law. Ad delivery follows the Google AdSense policies described in section 3.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14.

7. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised due to legal, policy, or service changes. Any changes will be announced on this page.
